Apocalypse?

Sigh here we go again. The supposedly predicted "End of the World" will be occurring tomorrow. To me, it's just a load of bull. I'm sure that many years into the future, we'll be laughing at the dick heads who spent a shit load of money to buy emergency bunkers to withstand the impending Apocalypse.

It all started with the Mayan calendar ending. Who was the the guy that predicted the end of the calendar= apocalypse ?? Modern day Mayans have not said a word about it, and since when do we follow the Mayan calendar?

It seems fear has gotten the better of people. I'm not saying I'm unfazed by it, maybe 0.5% of me is a little frightened? It's probably just the hype of things, the fact that ALOT of people believe it. But I put my trust in science and facts. And this means no natural disasters will happen. Spiritual disasters aka "God taking his people back" however? Well, if you have got with the times during the past few years, you would know that there were quite a few Christian loonies who predicted God's apocalypse, but funnily enough, their predicted dates did not happen.

Instead of worrying my arse off tomorrow, I'm actually going to do some Christmas shopping at Orchard Road. Hopefully I can find good deals! Christmas is in 5 days and my list has not been completed! D:

I'm waiting for my Popeyes boss to call, and I'm eager to start work! This means I can get money and get the things I want! (as well as save hehehe) Such as:

1) The Walking Dead Game
2) Blogilates DVD
3) Yoga mat
4) Weights
5) Epic Meal Time shirt
6) New phone?
7) Ipad
8) Sims 3 supernatural and seasons
9) A kitty
10) Otome games ehehe~~~

Aside from my selfish wants, I'm going to put a small sum of money towards World Vision. I regularly donate to them, and it just wouldn't be complete if I don't.

Anyways, I shall blog tomorrow about the fine weather and such, and hopefully not about acid rain or satan coming out of a well.

Windowsill Pies

Just thought I should post a little review about this place. Sharm and I persevered Singapore's rainy weather to get to Beach Road where the place is situated . As I waited outside Manicurious for Sharm to close and dry her umbrella, the place struck me as just another hipstery store with expensive knick knacks. As we entered , I realized the place was split into 3 "specialised zones" . The first third being the general products for sale. The second half being the pie corner with small tables to have your pies and drink of choice. The last third being a Mani pedi area. Yeah I was generally clueless too.

However , the pies were gorgeous. I had a s'mores pie with earl grey lavender tea whilst Sharm had Strawberry Lemon pie with Chamomile tea. We spent the time just talking about our future, and just random pleasant things. It was rather blissful. Sipping the tea and savouring every piece of pie whilst sitting in the quaint place and waited on by friendly staff just took us away from the bustling Singapore life.

The café gave me an idea of opening a place like this in Australia. It would be nice and peaceful to work in too.

Definitely coming back to this place. Such a nice place to come by yourself with a book on hand.

Tropical Paradise?

It has been about 4 days since I've arrived in Singapore, and boy, has the weather been cray cray hot, humid and sticky. Every night is almost hard to fall asleep. Having one fan isn't enough good lord

Anyways, besides the annoying weather, cheap food has been making me pudgy and for the past few days , internet was hard to find, so I had to put blogilates on a hold (sob) HOWEVER, internet was found yesterday and I did a good 50 minutes butt and ab work out this morning! Tomorrow's gonna be cardio, so I'm pretty unsure how I'll go with sweating in this humid weather.

I've also met my bub hoe qurl and boy has it been great! Bub food adventures has been making me tubby, but that's okay in the Bub Code of Conduct.

I got the greatest Xmas present too! Sharmy gave me Buddy Valastro's (AKA cake boss) baking book, and I'm so gonna cook my way through it ! :)

So right now, I'm just applying for temporary holiday jobs, so I can atleast do something with my time.

SOMEONE PLEASE TAKE ME.

Before my flight, I'll be doing a little secret shopping (hinthintxmas)

SO happy right now!

Sibling Tribulation

Ugh how can one feel eternally frustrated?! My sister can be full of rubbish sometimes.

Be prepared for a short, however not so sweet, rant.

Ever since moving into an apartment with my sister, I feel like I've been playing the big sister part, but I'm the younger one. I've been doing alot of housework and help given from my sister was RARE.
Even the simple task of washing dishes or bringing down clothes was apparently a marathon for her. I would ask her again for help, and she'll blow her stupid top off , saying she needs a few minutes to "chill". Seriously? Shut the fuck up, you twat.

I've been trying to be the mature one, ending fights with a "You know, we live under the same roof. We have to learn how to get along with each other." She will reply with an ingenuous "okay" and go about her day. Her ego is too big you see.

Sometimes I just feel like punching her square in the nose.

Since young, I would willingly supply her with money if she ever had a shortage. She took advantage of me.

A few months ago, she burnt the damn carpet with an iron accidentally , and not wanting to anger our father on Fathers' Day, we secretly called in a carpenter to fix it and I  had to pay for majority of the sum since she didn't have enough money. She has yet to pay me.

For gods sake, she's freaking 20. I though 20 year olds were able to handle themselves?

I know I can be a pain sometimes, but I REALISE IT. Does my sister realise part of her personality stinks?

I don't think I'll ever apologise for this rant, she pushed the line a long time ago, I guess I've been keeping it all in.

And if you're ever reading this my dear sister, I hope you're aware that you can be most laziest human being in the world if you let yourself be. You need to wake up man, stop thinking you're always right. (I bet you're probably thinking "When did I ever say that?" ) Honey, you don't need to say it, it's written all over you.

A Goal

Well it's 2 am, and this , for me, is a usual time for random inspirational things to pop into my head.

Since I'm into fitness these pass few weeks, I have decided to make a fitness goal.

Which is:

10 perfect regular push ups to  be achieved by the end of February 2013

Not the ones that I usually do, where my knees touch the floor. No.

I'm going for the proper one.

This has a deeper meaning in it, which is an increase of upper body strength that I'll have to work for!

I can do this!

Monday 3 December 2012

You're never a failure until you quit.

I'm proud to say after 2 weeks of blogilates cardio, I have successfully lost 1.5kg . I have about 8 kg more until my goal weight and I am very determined to do so!

To make this day heaps more exciting, it's The Walking Dead mid season 3 finale tonight! GAHHH feelings shall fly everywhere since the season will continue on Feb 10th next year (sob)

Got tidbits ready tonight such as golden oreos and japanese caramel corn hehe Gonna lay away from the set calories today xD

I don't know about you but... I'm so psyched about the next few weeks!

#DashingDecember

I woke up this morning to my annoying alarm from my phone. What time? Well I set it 9:30 am. And it's a Sunday. You might wonder why dis hoe is waking up considerably early for a lazy sunday. I guess I wanted to train myself not to sleep in? (tough luck) Especially when I slept at 3am earlier on .

I slowly propped myself up and instinctively reached to the nearest contraption that was less than an arm's length. My trusty macbook. aka Nick. I begun my routine by check social networking sites (ugh such a hoe) and lastly, I checked my email. The first message was from a seemingly trustworthy company telling me I'm one of the 20 winners to have won first prize! You see, I'm not one that has the luck of the irish, so "winning" has not become part of my vocabulary. Eyeing the email suspiciously, I decided not to venture into unchartered waters and straight to delete folder it went!

Now, the next email was something I was looking forward to. It was from Cassey Ho aka blogilates founder. It was the December workout calendar! I'm super determined to do this and I really do aim to have a toned body! I'll make sure to track my progress here, if anyone's interested. I went out in shorts yesterday and gosh damn, my legs felt... toner? As I passed by reflective surfaces of shop windows,  I could really see the difference!  I felt more confident. It really made my day. I'm still a long way from over, but I'm prepared to "train insane, or remain the same!"

The smell of bacon is beckoning me (time for some protein!) and I'm off to continue my Harvest Moon adventure.

First post of finesse

Decided to start a blog, partly because another fellow bub has one, but also I felt the need to just let out my everyday feels somewhere. A hand written diary was an option, however that resulted to an epitome of failure.

What should I write about... well today I've done about an hour of blogilates (aka pilates) by Cassey Ho (dis qurl is a HERO) My fight for fitness is still ongoing, though I've always felt that I was fit, but due to my lack of school sports at the moment, I had to improvise something to keep my shape up, or even make it better and toned. I've paired my fitness regime with a clean diet( though I do sneak it a little junk food) I just make sure I don't exceed the desired amount of calories as well as consuming the right amounts of sugars, vitamins etc.

I don't expect quick results, but we'll see in about a month. I'm about 65kg right now and considered healthy weight by BMI. My range is in the 70th percentile and I'm aiming to be below the 50 percentile range.

Sigh why can't life be easy for a foodie like me

The school I'm hoping I can get into is Melbourne Girls' College. It's a public school, but it's one of the best in Victoria. Will they accept a hoe like me?

Since I'm starting school in Feb '13, it has been quite boring for me. I've just been exercising, reading, watching documentaries (?) , caring for my kitty, being domestic (christ) ... I just can't wait to go back to Singapore for le holidays so I can see my family and my favourite hoe bag. Not to mention weight gaining food, I mean come on bubble tea pls. But being in airports is just fabulous. I love the gist of traveling. Euphoric even.

I hope I can keep this blog up, might be a good laugh or cringe in the future.
